Who we are

BrickIntel is a trading name of C3M Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16336211). Our registered office is C/O SG Accounting, 1 Cedar Office Park, Cobham Road, Wimborne, BH21 7SB. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website. You can contact us at hello@brickintel.ai.

What data we collect and why

Newsletter subscribers

We collect your email address when you subscribe to the BrickIntel newsletter. Legal basis: consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). We use this solely to send you the weekly newsletter. We retain your email address for as long as your subscription is active, and for up to 2 years after you unsubscribe for audit purposes, after which it is deleted.

Account holders

If you create an account, we collect your first name, email address, password (stored as a bcrypt hash — we never see your plaintext password), user type (buyer, seller, agent, or adviser), and optional interests. Legal basis: contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) — this data is necessary to provide the account service. We retain account data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the account settings page, which permanently deletes all associated data.

Consent records

When you create an account and accept our terms or opt into communications, we log your consent along with your IP address and browser user-agent string. Legal basis: legal obligation (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(c)) — we are required to demonstrate that consent was obtained. These records are retained for 3 years and then deleted.

Calculator inputs

If you are signed in, your mortgage and affordability calculator inputs are saved to your account so they persist across sessions. This data is stored only in your account and deleted when you delete your account.

Cookies and local storage

We use a session cookie issued by Supabase to keep you signed in. This is an essential cookie — it is required for the service to function and is set only after you sign in. We also store your cookie consent choice and a session flag for the disclaimer banner in your browser's local storage. These are not tracking cookies and are not shared with third parties. We do not use advertising, analytics, or behavioural tracking cookies.

Who we share your data with

Beehiiv

We use Beehiiv (Beehiiv, Inc., USA) to manage and deliver the newsletter. When you subscribe, your email address is transmitted to Beehiiv. We have entered into a Data Processing Agreement with Beehiiv and the transfer is covered by Standard Contractual Clauses. Beehiiv's privacy policy is available at beehiiv.com.

Supabase

Our database and authentication are provided by Supabase, Inc. (USA) running on AWS infrastructure in the EU (eu-west-2). We have a Data Processing Agreement with Supabase and the transfer is covered by Standard Contractual Clauses.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with any other third parties for marketing or commercial purposes.

Data sources

All property market data displayed on this site is sourced from public datasets: HM Land Registry Price Paid Data (© Crown copyright and database right 2026, licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0) and the Bank of England Statistical Interactive Database (© Bank of England, OGL v3.0). No personal property ownership data is displayed — only aggregated market analytics.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data
  • Erasure — ask us to delete your data (account holders can self-serve via account settings)
  • Restriction — ask us to pause processing your data
  • Portability — receive your account data in a machine-readable format
  • Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests
  • Withdraw consent — unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email, or email us to withdraw any other consent

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@brickintel.ai. We will respond within 30 days.

Complaints

If you believe we have handled your data unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
